Fees

All fees are in Australian dollars and include GST. Your fee is paid in full when you book, and a tax invoice is emailed to you with your booking confirmation.

Class 1 or Class 3 medical — initial or renewal $385
Class 2 medical — initial or renewal $297
Aviation medicine consultation (30 min) $330

The fee covers the examination and the DAME's report to CASA. It does not cover:

  • CASA's own medical application fee, which you pay to CASA through the Medical Records System (MRS) before your appointment
  • Additional tests CASA may require for your age, class or history — ECG, audiometry, blood tests, ophthalmology — which are billed separately by the provider who performs them

Cancellations and rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule using the link in your confirmation email.

Rescheduling within these windows is treated the same as cancelling and rebooking. Inside 24 hours the online link no longer works — phone +61 490 439 986.

If we cancel

If Dr El-Khawas has to cancel your appointment, you will be offered the next available time or a full refund — your choice.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card you paid with and normally appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Before you arrive

Your examination cannot begin unless these are done:

  1. You have an Aviation Reference Number (ARN) from CASA
  2. You have completed the medical questionnaire in MRS through myCASA
  3. You have paid CASA's application fee in MRS
  4. If you wear corrective lenses, you have both pairs with you

If these are not complete when you arrive, the appointment may need to be rebooked and the cancellation terms above apply.
